a person goes to office bettween 2 and 3 pm and returns between 6 and 7 pm......he notices that hands of the clock have reversed their positions(means hour hand went to minute hands place and minute hand came to hour hands place) .....at what time did he went to work?????

Explaination:

Since he goes b/w 2 and 3 pm.. therefore the minute hand when he returns will be b/w 2 & 3

abd when he returns b/w 6 & 7 pm..therefore the minute hand when he goes will be b/w 6 & 7

 Therefore the only intersecting time is when he goes at 2:30(2 and 6 have interchanged) exactly.....difficult to explain by writing here really.
